About

Hi! My name is Shadow. I am a Ph.D. student in the College of Computing and Data Science (CCDS) at Nanyang Technological University (NTU), Singapore, where I am privileged to be supervised by Asst. Prof. Yoonchang Sung in the Algorithmic Robotics Group (ARG). My research interests lie at the intersection of Embodied AI and VLA models, with a current focus on advancing robot learning, sim-to-real transfer, and robust robotic manipulation in unstructured environments.

I obtained my M.Phil. at the Department of Electronic and Computer Engineering (ECE) from the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST), and my B.Eng. in Computer Engineering (CPEG) with minors in Robotics, Physics and Humanities (Music) from the same university.

Outside of academia, I am a dedicated musician🎶 and a marathon runner🏃🏻‍♀️. My future goal is to finish a full triathlon🏊🏻‍♀️🚴🏻‍♀️🏃🏻‍♀️.
