Sabah 2025

I was exhausted from attending two conferences in two consecutive weeks.😮‍💨 Making presentation slides on every flight and bus ride has become my new normal… 🫣

A drama to share~ During the presentation, none of the presenters could control their own slides. We had to rely on a helper for every “next slide, please.” That’s actually quite annoying when your slides have animations and videos. Luckily my final-year project (FYP) student and I made the slides together and we rehearsed several times before the presentation, so we could cue each other’s slides and still give a smooth presentation haha. Teamwork!😎🤟

Beyond the conference, I enjoyed the sunshine and beach in Sabah🏝️. I hadn’t had Southeast Asian food since my trip to SG last year, so I was thrilled to finally eat laksa, nasi lemak, bak kut teh, and more!😋 The seafood was incredible, and the portions were giant!🦀 I even hurt my finger while eating crab lol! And for the first time ever, I went fishing and caught three fish!🐟 And fireflies landed on my hand!!👐 So cool!😎

Luckily I met my friends there!🤩 Not alone during the conference trip again haha. And we finally took a trip together after our Robocon competition🏆. Our next stop? Must be Fiji!!!🇫🇯🙂‍↕️
